PACIFIC NORTHWEST ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY
WHERE ROMANTIC ADVENTURE & ELEGANCE MEET
OREGON + WASHINGTON ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY
Welcome to the best elopement backdrop on earth
You made the right call. There’s no better place to say your vows. Whether your heart’s set on the North Cascades, Mount Rainier, Leavenworth, the San Juan Islands, or Olympic National Park, every pocket of the PNW already looks like a movie. Now just picture it with the two of you in frame.
You handled the hard part: finding each other
Celebrating that should feel simple, don’t you think?
You signed up to get married, not manage logistics. If you tell me what you’re dreaming up: how you want the day to feel, what you want to look back on, and who will be by your side…I’ll take it from there. I’ve got the scouting, permits, and timeline covered, so everything flows naturally and has room to breathe. For everything else, I have people. The kind who’ll hike with you, cook for you, or have your favorite food waiting when you get back.
Traditions are off the table
Which means everything else is on it
Let’s plan the best day ever—with vows tucked somewhere in the middle.
JUST A FEW IDEAS TO GET THE WHEELS (AND SEAPLANES) TURNING:
Hop on a private seaplane from Seattle to the San Juans, spending the weekend at the historic resort on Orcas Island (or my other favorite: San Juan Island), with morning kayaks searching for whales, tide pool walks, windswept vows in the shadow of a lighthouse, and dinner with your favorite people as the sun drops behind the harbor.
Stay at a gorgeous Oregon Coast Airbnb, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame nothing but the sand, shoreline, and blue sky. A private chef prepares brunch as you move through morning yoga, dogs curled at your feet. Later, you wander the beach one last time as fiancés, then venture to the seaside cliffs to share your vows and begin your next chapter.
Take a ferry to a remote village nestled in the North Cascades where your lakeside cabin waits—surrounded only by trees, grazing horses, and open sky. Spend your morning eating pancakes on the porch before saying your vows near a picturesque lake that looks shockingly like Norway. At golden hour, you ride into the mountains, following trails only locals know.
Take a snowcat 7,000 feet up Mount Hood where a storybook mountain hut awaits. Inside, candlelight flickers against frosted windows as snow falls outside and the cozy scent of woodfire fills the room. You share your vows near the peak before returning indoors to celebrate with your closest friends, trading stories and warm cider by the fire.
Psst: If one of these sounds exactly like what you want, please steal it!
TESTIMONIAL
“Heather is a ray of sunshine! She has the best energy and allowed us to fully be ourselves. She captured us just being in our element, free from pressure. The images are beyond stunning! We’re so thankful for these memories and had an absolute blast!”

Overwhelmed with elopement planning? Couldn’t be you
Here’s how we’re handcrafting the big I do
DISCOVER
We start by getting everything out of your head and into mine. You’ll share what you’re dreaming up, how you want the day to feel, and what matters most. I’ll bring a million ideas to the table and send over my full Wedding Guide so you head into planning feeling clear, confident, and excited.
01
LOCATION
Once I know what type of day you’re planning, I’ll find the perfect spot for it. That means scouting, checking permits, watching tides and trail reports, and making sure every detail is actually doable. I’ll deliver a customized Location Guide so you can choose from options that fit your vision, comfort level, and people.
02
THE DETAILS
Then we bring it all to life. I’ll help design a timeline that flows naturally and connect you with vendors I trust: chefs, florists, officiants, planners, and even pilots if we need one. You’ll know who’s handling what and how it all fits together.
03
PREPARE
As the day gets close, I’ll finalize logistics, confirm vendors, and prepare backup options for weather or crowds. You’ll have a clear plan, a Leave No Trace guide to review, and zero reason to stress. Just show up ready to celebrate; I’ll handle the rest.
04
Everything you need for the best day ever
Yes, I’ll show up on the day of with my camera in hand, but my support starts way before your actual elopement. Here’s what you can expect when working with me:
Location suggestions that fit your vision while keeping an eye on permits, group size, trail conditions, and seasonal closures (I’m out there often and know the tide patterns and timing that offer the most privacy)
A timeline that lets you stay present, with enough space for quiet moments, snacks, and whatever unfolds
Trusted vendor recommendations that bring something extra to the table: private chefs who’ll meet you at the trailhead, makeup artists who hike with you, or seaplane pilots who can drop you at an alpine lake
Clean, true-to-life images captured on both digital and film, with soft, nostalgic, timeless frames
Subtle “motion pictures” showing the candid, raw, behind-the-scenes of your day
Sneak peeks delivered while the excitement is fresh
A gallery that feels alive…like flipping through a day you can step right back into
Fun fact: I’m ordained and happy to sign your license if you’re envisioning something super intimate or just want to keep things simple.

PNW ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY FAQS

Nope! There are plenty of short ADA accessible paths and pull off spots with unbelievable views.
-
As a PNW local I’m happy to help you find one and boy oh boy do I have ideas for you. Want some inspiration now? Check out this blog post for some of my personal favorites.
-
Absolutely, they’re family! In the planning process, we will be sure to make sure everywhere we visit is dog friendly. And I even know some dog sitters that can tag along for the day!
-
I’m accepting bookings for 2025 and 2026. Most couples begin working with me 6-18 months before their wedding – however, if you’re planning something sooner or last minute don’t hesitate to reach out! If I’m available for your date then I’m happy to hit the ground running with you.

Since Washington and Oregon are known for rain, most couples plan elopements between May and October. The rain is enchanting and oftentimes short lived so don’t let that deter you! Looking for a snowy winter elopement? Both Washington and Oregon offer great winter locations too!
YOUR DAY SHOULDN’T ASK YOU TO BE ANYONE BUT YOURSELVES
So bring each other, great stories, snacks, your friends (if you want)—and I’ll meet you in the mountains, or on the coast, or in a seaplane…you get the idea
